What is freelancing and How to start earning Online as a beginner?

earning online free lancer income illustrated

Free lancing means being independent, free to choose the workplace, free to choose the schedule and free to choose your wages.

Everybody has to do something for living, a business or a job. Freelancing is in between business and job, it is like a business to provide paid services to your client or a customer. People now a days take this term for online jobs or some IT work only, but its not the same. You can provide any service from home or at your own workplace.

2.   What is difference between freelancing and remote jobs?

Freelancing is providing your services for a project, you are totally responsible to complete that project in time, customer has nothing to do with your working hours or work place.  While remote job is employment where an employer hires you for some project and you are duty bound to work at your home or some workplace (remote) with a timetable and daily tasks given by the employer.

3.   Who can start freelancing and earn money?

Everybody with a skill can start freelancing, you must have heard or watched YouTube videos where you are told that you can start freelancing with no skill at all. Its just copy paste work.

Not at all. Being frankly and truthful let me say they are day dreamers. You must learn at least one skill before you start freelancing.

4.   Who should start Freelancing?

If you can does not mean you should. There are many slips between the cups and the lips.

·      If you like to stay at your home

·      if you like to work from your home

·      if you have a spare room for your work, where nobody will interrupt you

·      If you have a skill

·      If you are creative

You should start freelancing.

5.   How to earn money from free Lancing?

How to earn money from freelancing or work from home is real question, but its only you who can answer this question. Ask yourself why will someone give you money? What excellent and amazing thing you can do for him which he cannot do himself.

Here are some must have check points before you start free lancing, and if you check all these points in yes before you start freelancing , you will surely earn money and fortune

·      You are master of one skill, you must have grip on the skill before you start providing paid services.

·      You must have an updated PC/Laptop.

·      You must have fast and reliable internet connection.

·      You must have updated and paid software if you need some software for your paid services, for example if you want to join as graphic designer you must have Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator etc installed and it is better and wise option to have paid subscription or pro subscription of CANVA.

·      You must have a room to work freely, where nobody is supposed to interrupt when you are working.

·      You must be master of your soul, you should be able to make a timetable which is followed by you strictly. This timetable must include time for sleep, family, friends and dine out.

·      You must have an appealing and amazing online portfolio to show your work and skills.

·      You must be free . ( if you already have a regular job then you must resign first or your job gives you regular days off and you want to work part time as a freelancer )

If al these checkpoints are YES, then sweet and short answer to the question is also yes, yes you can earn a lot of money.
